Please Notice : Any 5000 from version 3.0, is upgradable to the "GPS" version !
An LH 5000”GPS” version is delivered with exactly the same performance features as the standard version,
plus the software which allows it to perform GPS controlled ”VRT” (Variable-Rate-Treatment).
Currently, there are three ”data-source” options available for obtaining the GPS controlled "VRT” performance with the LH 5000 :
The LH Datalink, - the LH 665, - or serial ”other branded” terminals.
What means "serial, other branded terminal" ?
E.g. The Massey Ferguson "Fieldstar" terminal, or similar terminals featuring a serial RS 232 port.
In addition to comprehensive "VRT" facilities, the 5000 GPS version provide in conjunction with the LH DataLink, further three direct selectable features :
”Field survey” ”Soil-sample-position”, plus the unique ”Datalog” feature.
The ”Datalog” option provides you a digital file of what has happened during a specific field job. Whereas the others respectively provides a guided and easy worked program for field-measurements, also mapping the field border & possible "problem areas".
The "Soil sample location" feature, can precisely map and mark your "analysed soil" location.
