Topcon precision technology eligible for grants under Scotland’s Future Farming Investment Scheme

The Future Farming Investment Scheme (FFIS) is a capital grant scheme for eligible active farmers and crofters in Scotland, to help improve their environmental performance.

FFIS is designed to encourage agricultural businesses to carry out farm/croft capital investment to achieve the following objectives:

  • improve business efficiency and sustainability
  • protect, restore or enhance the environment
  • reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • mitigate the effect of climate change

The scheme offers upfront capital funding that can cover up to 100% of costs, with an indicative budget allocation of £14 million.
